Federica Andreoni
Federica Andreoni graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from the University of Bologna in 2019. She then pursued further studies In 2021 she completed a Master's degree in Innovation Management at the University of Trento and Sant'Anna in Pisa, culminating in the attainment of a Master's degree in Innovation Management in 2021. Her thesis delved into purpose-oriented companies and analysed the cultural and business model aspects of B Corp-corp certified entities.
Currently, Federica is part of the team at the PKB company, where she manages the 'Patients Know Best Education Programme' , the non-profit arm of the company, whose . The programme’s mission is to train healthcare students on the tools of digital health.
Federica is also leading this research, focusing on the analysis of national Personal Health Records from multiple countries with the ultimate goal of creating a comprehensive comparative review.
Mohammad Al-Ubaydli
Mohammad Al-Ubaydli is the co-founder of Patients Know Best (http://www.patientsknowbest.com ) and has over 27 years of experience in medical software. He trained as a physician at the University of Cambridge; worked as a staff scientist at the US National Institutes of Health; and ran the hospital chief information officer consulting practice for US hospitals at the Advisory Board Company.
Dr. Al-Ubaydli wrote 7 books about the use of IT in health care, including 'Personal Health Records: a guide for clinicians'. He is an honorary researcher in personal health records at University College London’s Centre for Health Informatics and Multiprofessional Education, and the University of Cambridge’s Adden- brooke’s Hospital.
