Only outpatient appointments are currently included in the SIU feed |
Location is populated for all appointments (PV1-3.9 field) |
Speciality is populated for all appointments (PV1-10.1 field) |
All textual fields should be in normal text (upper and lower case) with no unnecessary capitalisation, abbreviations or characters. |
Specialities should not display as a code or special values (a Hospital Service code set should be provided with a textual description for each code. The trust should also inform PKB of any new codes that require adding to the trust’s code set at any time). |
There should not be inappropriate or overly long values or acronyms |
There should not be clinically sensitive terminology - Such as 2WW |
Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) information must be supplied (in description field NTE-3.1) |
Appointments for prisoners must be excluded |
Dummy bookings and/or ghost clinics must be excluded |
